Bournemouth University welcomes new students
Publish date: 12/10/2007
New Kaplan Aspect students on the Bournemouth University International Foundation Certificate programme received a warm welcome on their visit to Bournemouth University.
The 30-week Bournemouth University International Foundation Certificate programme is run in partnership with Kaplan Aspect Bournemouth and Bournemouth University (BU). The programme is designed for international students who need to complete a foundation course before they enter a UK university.
Students on the Bournemouth University International Foundation Certificate programme benefit from small classes and comprehensive student support at Kaplan Aspect as well as access to the facilities on the campus of BU. Students receive classes in specialist subjects such as Accountancy, Mathematics, Business, IT, Law, Media Studies, Marketing, Tourism and Hospitality or Social Science, as well as language support and study skills.
On the 3rd of October, our new intake of foundation students visited BU to see the outstanding facilities available to them. Students also met with the university staff to discuss their individual interests and needs. Many students later commented that the 24-hour computer facilities were impressive and that they were looking forward to joining societies such as the football and international student societies in the coming weeks.
In addition to progression routes on to the excellent programmes at BU, International Foundation Certificate students can also apply to any other university in the UK. We guarantee a university place for all students who successfully complete this programme.
